Lao NA approves reshuffle of leading officials

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – National Assembly members on Friday approved the appointment of Khampha Sengdara as the new President of the People’s Supreme Court, and Vidong Xayasone as the new Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Approval of the two appointments was given after being proposed by President Bounnhang Vorachit and Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith. The appointments were finalised after a majority vote by Assembly members.
